St. Mary’s Cafeteria is thriving with different menus every day thanks to the hard work of the amazing staff!
Having committed to St. Mary’s for 14 years, Kyoko Nakazawa has been dedicated to providing delicious lunch for students at the school. Ms. Nakazawa enjoys her job and feels that everything is exciting for her. She stated, “It is fun to watch students grow.” She feels great emotion watching the students in her lunch line grow from young children to graduating seniors.
Ms. Nakazawa loves her job, however, it is also physically demanding. There is much work to do as she has to clean and wipe every surface in the cafeteria each hour to keep the place immaculate and healthy. Furthermore, she has to serve at the counter every day, ensuring that every student receives their meal properly and pays the right amount of money for their lunch.
Ms. Nakazawa’s favorite item on the Cezars Kitchen’s menu is the carrot cake. It’s not just a personal favorite—it is beloved by many of the staff workers—in fact they often buy some to take it home. She highly recommends the delicious dessert to students, especially since carrot cake is not widely known in Japan. Many haven’t had the chance to discover its incredible flavor, and she believes they are missing out on this fabulous treat.
Ms Nakazawa hopes for students’ cooperation during lunchtime to ensure a safe and orderly environment. As much as she shows lots of dedication in her work for the St. Mary’s students, she expects disciplined behavior during lunchtime to create a more safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience for everyone.
