Around the school, you may have noticed the study tables in the library and the trees lining the pathways. These memorials were established to honor a student, Ryuta Shibamoto, who passed away in 2023. The tables provide a quiet study space and feature plaques to ensure his memory continues inspiring those who use them.
Outside, the trees symbolize growth and resilience and are planted along the main walkway to commemorate the students’ lives. Each tree is marked with a sign, allowing students to reflect on the legacy he left behind while adding beauty to the campus.
These memorials invite students to remember the impact of those who came before them. Forever in our hearts, they serve as a reminder to cherish our connections and the lasting impressions we make on one another.
