This year’s Artscape competition is a major artistic event featuring around 18 international schools across the Kanto region. With around 30 to 40 students showcasing their creativity, the school celebrated three standout winners: Yashima Y. (’32), Yuki F. (’27), and Ignacio M. (’26). These talented students will go on to compete in the next round against other schools, with the potential to have their work represent the event as the gallery’s logo.
Artscape is a competition that brings together some young artists from international schools. St. Mary’s students have demonstrated exceptional skill in various artistic mediums, thanks to their instructors. Mrs. Ramos, the event coordinator at St. Mary’s, has led the effort, with support from art, design technology, and photography teachers.
The final exhibition will take place in February 2025, offering the winners a chance to display their talents alongside students from other schools. With their remarkable achievements so far, St. Mary’s winners have set a high standard, and their success highlights the school’s art community.
