Recently, across St. Mary’s bridge, a visually appealing painting of the St. Mary’s logo appeared on the wall, bringing color to the school.
Ms. Stevens, the new Director of Marketing and Communication, collaborated with Ms. You, the Design and Visuals Coordinator; Ms. Souers, from the Art Department; Mr. Martinez, the Head of the Art Department; and Mr. Kasai, the Director of Facilities, to create a wonderful artwork on the wall.
Initially, the one that came to her mind was the school itself. She wanted to incorporate things that represent and symbolize the school, hoping that people could feel more titans and proud of being part of the school. She believed St. Mary’s had a strong spirit, which exists very strongly but not visually. Therefore, she wanted to build the spirit and build brand recognition. By creating a visually striking environment, she hopes people understand the background culture of St. Mary’s and develop a deeper appreciation of the school.
Not only does the artwork represent the school, but it has also become a popular photo spot. From alumni to students from other schools, lots of people have taken pictures in front of the artwork. According to Ms. Stevens, she “hopes to receive more and more feedback from students” as she prioritizes students’ opinions, expecting participation from students around the school. She expressed special thanks to Ms. You, for having a strong background to push the school community forward, emphasizing her dedication and significant effort in the project.
Ms. Stevens is looking forward to creating more artwork that represents the school.
