The St. Mary’s middle school rugby season started on November 6th and will end on Sunday, February 2nd, with games at YC&AC(Yokohama Country & Athletic Club). The team has faced tough opponents all season and worked hard to improve. Their final matches against YC&AC Rugby Academy and Malvern College Tokyo will be an exciting challenge.
After the Christmas break, the team showed great progress, playing four games in one morning at BST. They managed a draw and came very close to winning two other games. Now, they hope to finish the season strong with a win on Sunday.
This season focused on giving players experience to help them improve. The team has built a strong foundation for next year, with some players moving up to high school rugby and younger players gaining valuable skills.
For next season, the team wants to see more commitment and consistency from players. Fans are welcome to come and support them at YC&AC Field on Sunday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. It will be an exciting way to end the season.
