From February 2nd to 6th, 18 members of the St. Mary’s International School Varsity Soccer Team will go on a trip to Saipan, staying at the Pacific Island Club.
The team will face off against teams including Paire FC D1 Club Women, Saipan International School’s Junior Varsity and Varsity teams, and Marianna High School. In addition to the games, the trip will provide valuable cultural experiences for the players. One key experience will be a special presentation to around 150 elementary school students at Saipan International School, where the Team will share their experiences and take place in cultural exchange.
According to Mr Chan, “The goal is for the players to come back with a deeper appreciation of being part of the team. They will learn the value of the hard work and discipline that they put in for the season.” He hopes the trip will be a memorable and fulfilling experiences for the players
The final night will bring everyone together for a memorable barbecue dinner at the beach, a fitting way to celebrate the connections made and lessons learned.
