From February 2nd to 6th, the St. Mary’s International School Varsity Soccer Team traveled to Saipan and competed in a series of matches and came back undefeated. At their stay in Saipan, they took part in cultural exchange with other students from different schools, and strengthened their bond as a team.
Across their matches, St. Mary’s showcased their dominance as they had a 9-2 victory against Paire FC D1 Club Women, 6-1 win against Saipan International School, and battled Mariana High School to a 4-4 draw and won in penalty shoot outs.

Other than the matches, the team connected with the local community and took part in a new experience where they presented at Saipan International School about their experiences in Japan. During this presentation, they bonded with around 150 elementary school students. This presentation was a great cultural exchange experience and was a highlight of the trip, allowing the players to gain a new perspective of Saipan.
For the seniors, this trip was the final soccer journey with the team, which made it a meaningful and unforgettable experience. With their three win, new and lasting memories, the Titans return to Tokyo after a good way to end the season.
