
At the recent track meet at Zama High School, St. Mary’s relay team delivered a remarkable performance, breaking the long-standing 4×1 record and setting a new benchmark that will be remembered for years to come. The previous record of 44.24 seconds, held by Eugene Oser, Valery Atanga, Vincent Vareta, and Mr. Ioki Ichikawa—the current short-distance track coach—had stood for 28 years and was a testament to the school’s rich track and field tradition. Their flawless teamwork and chemistry were evident as each member played a crucial role in this thrilling achievement.
