This year, Saint Mary’s welcomes Mr. Jeremy Kung as a new teacher for the Middle School Design Tech program, working with grades 6 through 8. With nearly ten years of teaching experience, including time in Latvia where he taught computer science and middle school design, Mr. Kung has quickly made a positive impression on students and staff. “I really enjoy just working with students. Getting to know you guys and building relationships is probably the best part,” he shared.
In class, Mr Kung encourages students to explore their creativity and learn valuable skills. “We have so much fun in class because we get to build everything and anything we want,” he said. His hope is that students take away the confidence and knowledge to make their ideas a reality, learning that anything they set their mind to is possible.
Outside the classroom, Mr. Kung is passionate about sports and extracurricular activities. He is proud to continue Saint Mary’s tennis championship streak, plays ice hockey, and is eager to support robotics if needed. Having enjoyed collaborating with staff and getting to know students, Mr. Kung’s energy, experience, and dedication are already making a positive impact on the Saint Mary’s community.
