Futako-Tamagawa:
Futako-Tamagawa is a station that many students use, but is it really the most optimal choice? The perks of Futako-Tamagawa are plenty, including the Rise shopping mall, the nearby nature of the Tama River, and access to more train lines such as the Den-en-toshi Line and the Oimachi Line.
Kaminoge:
Kaminoge Station is smaller and often overshadowed by Futako-Tamagawa, yet many students still prefer it. Why? For one, Kaminoge is actually closer to St. Mary’s than Futako-Tamagawa. It’s also just one stop before Futako-Tamagawa, which can save valuable time if you’re running late. On top of that, the route from Futako-Tamagawa involves a much steeper hill, meaning the walk from Kaminoge is not only shorter but also less sweaty.
