Middle school and 5th-grade players will take part in a special training day at Rugby School Japan.

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, St. Mary’s middle school and 5th-grade boys have been invited to a Junior Rugby Clinic at Rugby School Japan. Although the middle school season does not officially start until November, this event will give players a chance to prepare early.
The clinic will include skill stations such as tackling, ball carrying, rucking, and evasion. After the drills, students will join a touch rugby tournament before finishing the day with lunch.
Rugby School Japan is named after the original Rugby School in England, where the sport began in 1823. Today, it continues that tradition by combining education with strong values of teamwork and sportsmanship.
This clinic gives St. Mary’s players the chance to grow their skills while connecting to the roots of the game.
