The volleyball team traveled to Jeju, Korea, for their first international tournament, buzzing with excitement from the moment they boarded the plane. After arriving, they settled in and quickly turned their attention to the matches. The competition was tough, with strong teams from across Asia pushing them to their limits. Every set demanded focus and teamwork, and the players supported one another through long rallies and high-pressure moments.
Although they didn’t come away with a top 3 finish, the team felt the tournament was a huge success. The tournament started off with a slow start with the team slowly losing hope with every loss, but as the team learned to keep their energy up, the team started winning more, “We learned that as a team we need to be more supportive in order to win” Joe Tobita a player from the team said. The losses showed them where they could grow, and the wins reminded them of their strengths. In the end, they returned home proud, not just of how they competed, but of how much they had learned together.
