The Cross Country team had their first time trial on September 6 and the times show that the team is starting off well. The Cross Country team first practiced on August 27 and their first meet is on September 14. Until last year, the Cross Country team had one of the fastest person in Kanto, William B. (’24), who currently holds the KPASS Cross Country and some of the Track & Field records. Unfortunately, William graduated last year and the Cross Country team is working harder to maintain its good and strong position in Kanto.
The results show that most runners are in good shape and are ready to shine in the first meet. The time trial was 4.5k, 5 loops around the school. The top 3 and the times are as follows:
- Mughil RK (’26), 17:33
- Yuto T. (’27), 17:58
- Noelmykel A. (’27), 18:25
“I think the results of the time trail show where we at as a team and who has been running in the off season. A wide range of results but a lot of potential for the upcoming season,” said Mr. Vinall, the Cross Country coach.
