Over the autumn break, Coach Bosko organized a seasonal tennis event in Niigata from October 12th to 18th, where students of all ages from the Kanto area gathered to socialize and learn to play tennis. For a full week, students practiced tennis for 5 hours each day, with a tournament held on the final two days, offering exciting prizes.
Experienced tennis coaches, each with over 10 years of experience, came from various locations to teach students valuable lessons they hadn’t experienced before. Coach Bosko was enthusiastic about teaching and sharing his passion for tennis with the students.
The week at Coach Bosko’s tennis camp was filled with wonderful experiences. The hotel quality was satisfactory, and the food was exhilarating, with a buffet offering marvelous options, including steak and crab. The onsen even included a jacuzzi, where guests could relax and enjoy their bath time. The tennis court was magnificent too, with quality comparable to Wimbledon, and all the tennis balls were new, allowing everyone to play to their fullest potential as they were able to play at the maximum condition.
Despite the immaculate conditions, the stinkbugs were the only nuisance at Bosko’s tennis camp. They were everywhere on the court, sometimes even chasing players during matches and disrupting the flow of play. The bugs would even crawl into students’ tennis bags and later appear in their rooms, causing total chaos.
Overall, the dramatic improvement in students’ tennis skills proved the effectiveness of Coach Bosko’s tennis camp, with people willing to revisit the camp. The coach seemed pleased that the camp met his expectations, showing satisfaction with the results.
