On November 5th and 6th, Jv tryouts took place on the St Mary soccer field, signifying the beginning of the new season for the Titans. This year, a new coach will lead the team, Coach Vinall, who has unique coaching approaches and a strong vision to guide the Titans to success.
Coach Vinall emphasized how as the new season begins, he is eager to connect with as many players as possible. “I’m really looking forward to working with the players. I’ve already coached in track and cross-country, and now in a new setting on the soccer field,” he said. His approaches on coaching is focused on relationship-building, making sure that every player feels understood, and seen.
In his first season, Coach Vinall’s biggest priority is to create an enjoyable experience for all of the players. Looking back at the Titans 2nd-place finish last season, he’s confident that with discipline and quality practice, the team can continue that success. “If we stay committed and practice consistently, there’s no reason we can’t build on last year’s achievements,” he added.
With his strong goal and solid approach, Coach Vinall hopes his players will finish the season with a stronger passion for soccer.
