Rising sophomore JunYoung (’29) his joined the ranks of reporters who have published 25 stories in the Diplomat. JunYoung, who joined St. Mary’s in the 7th Grade, says that he really enjoys being a member of the Diplomat as it has “…allowed me to become more informed, curious, and connected to both the school community and the world.”
JunYoung is most proud of his piece on the Comic Market, one of the largest comic conventions of its kind in the world. Researching the topic, explained JunYoung, was “enjoyable and interesting–so much so that I ended up visiting the event.”
As a freshman JunYoung is a long way from graduating and is not sure what he would like to do after finishing at St. Mary’s, but his focus and determination will surely serve him well in whatever he does.
