In the History Bee, an individual competition, Jonathan won 1st place in the JV Division. For the Varsity Division, St. Mary’s Oma clinched 3rd place and Hirohisa got 2nd place, once again, having St. Mary’s take 2 out of the three places on the podiums. When asked about his sentiments towards this successful venture, Jonathan, who won both the Varsity History Bowl and the Junior Varsity History Bee, replied “I’m proud of both the school and my team-mates who have supported me throughout this journey.” With St. Mary’s putting on an amazing performance at both of the UIA History Competitions, they’ll be hosting the next History Bowl and Bee in April!
