Almost four months after the last match in June, the NBA is finally back!’
The NBA Regular Season kicked off on Tuesday, October 21. The first games of the season feature well-known fan favorites, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Golden State Warriors, as well as the reigning champion of the league, the Oklahoma City Thunder.

This offseason brought some wild changes: sharpshooter Damian Lillard returned to Portland, 15-time all-star Kevin Durant moved to Houston, and two-way explosive slasher Jalen Green took his talents to the Phoenix Suns.

The younger players in the 2025-26 season is definitely something our basketball fans would want to look out for. With Japanese prospects like Yuki Kawamura (now waived) and Keisei Tominaga showing that Japanese hoop dreams can come true, the younger generation is watching and enjoying the sport with real hope. Former college basketball stars, now promising rookies, VJ Edgecombe, Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper, and Kon Kneuppel would surely put on a show for the youth (and the adults).

Whether it’s scrolling through explosive highlights on TikTok, or watching early-morning games before school, one thing’s clear — the NBA belongs to the 2000s babies now.
