
The St. Mary’s International School Cross Country team finished second overall at the Ikego 5K Finals on October 17. Both the varsity and JV teams ran well and showed steady progress this season.
For varsity, Noah T. placed second with a time of 16:19.8. Mughil R. finished sixth with a personal record of 16:44.5, and Yuto T. placed eighth with another personal record of 16:47.8. Their results helped SMIS earn a solid team score and second place overall.

The JV team also performed well. Ryofu K., Kai Gade and Noah Lashers finished with good times and helped the team stay competitive. Several JV runners set personal bests, showing their improvement throughout the season.
Commenting on the team’s results, Mr. McGuire said, “I think they did fantastic. Second place is a great achievement, and they did really well.” It was a consistent effort from the Titans, with strong results in both divisions and good signs for next year’s races.
