On Thursday November 13th, The High School Varsity team and the top 15 middle schoolers from the Buccaneer swim team will head to Korea to compete in the inaugural Asia Pacific Invitational at Chadwick International School.
This marks the first international competition the team has competed in since 2018 in Taiwan. The competition is expected to be fierce, with many of the major international schools across asia participating. When asked about the upcoming meet,“I’m excited to see how we stack up against international swimmers,” said long-time swimmer Nicolas Radzimski. “I’ve been working hard in practice, and I hope it all pays off at the biggest meet of the year.”
The team will be away for a total of 5 days, and hope to bring home some hard ware. Although the team hosts many international meets, Nicolas commented how “visiting a different country for one is a totally different feel”.
