Spring Break is right around the corner, the break that everyone was awaiting and desperately needed, and people finally get time off from school to do things they want to do. Earlier this week, the Diplomat posed a poll where students were asked what they were doing over Spring Break, and after a week of waiting, the results are finally in, and it seems like a lot of people are doing different things.
With any break, there come people who go on luxurious vacations. Out of the 72 votes we got, 27 people said that they were going on a vacation, which comes to around 38% of the total voters. On the contrary, some students had to continue with their studies during the break, presumably high school and middle school students. Out of the 72 votes, 14 votes said that they were going to study over the break. That is 19% of the total voters. Around 13% of voters said that they were going to use the break as a recharge to get ready for the next quarter of school. 18% of voters said that they were going to have fun with their friends and socialize. Last but not least, 9 voters indicated they would focus on their athletic lives and play sports during the break.

The long-awaited break is finally coming, and the break also signals something else. The school year is getting closer to ending. With only around a week or two of quarter three left, we are nearly entering the final stretch of the year, until some graduate, and people move up the academic ladder.
