Nine dedicated teachers at St. Mary’s International School joined the Ultimate Moustache Showdown to support Men’s Health Month! They grew their mustaches and beards throughout November, raising awareness for men’s health issues and encouraging the community to help address these challenges.
Donations were accepted from November 18th to 28th, from 8:00 to 8:20 a.m. in front of the
High School Office. All funds raised, 187,000 YEN, were donated to the Red Cross and Japan Cancer Society.
The teacher with the most votes at the end of the two weeks, Mr. Wilson, was crowned KING TITAN BEARD, earning bragging rights as champion. With 1 vote equaling 1 yen, every vote counted! Standings were updated daily on the school diploma and were open for everyone to follow.
This friendly competition brought the St. Mary’s community together for a meaningful cause. Everyone picked their favorite mustache and showed support as St. Mary’s teachers grew for good!
