St. Mary’s built on their strong showing in the Jeju tournament last weekend by taking down KIST at home on Wednesday. The gym was filled with energy as fans cheered on both the JV and Varsity teams.

JV set the tone early winning the first set 25–17 and then following up the second set by 25–16 behind solid serving and steady defense. They kept control throughout the whole game showing determination and teamwork every set.
Varsity followed with a dominant performance, rolling through the first set 25–9. KIST tried to fight back in the second set, but St. Mary’s stayed composed and closed it out with a close win of 25–20. Joshua Knipfing, a sophmore on the varsity volleyball team stated “I thought Ty was the MVP today. He really stepped up and gave us energy when we needed it most.”
Titans are hoping to carry the momentum from Jeju into the rest of the season, showing that they can rise to the occasion when it matters most. With both squads now at 2 wins to 2 losses this season, they hope to improve their skills and to win the kanto finals 2 years in a row.
