From October 2nd to 4th, St. Mary’s traveled to the American School in Japan (ASIJ) to take part in the annual Yujo Tournament. The event brought together teams from different international schools, filling the gym with excitement and energy. St. Mary’s players gave it their all in every match, showing determination, teamwork, and school pride. Each game was hard-fought, and even when things didn’t go their way, the team kept their heads up and supported one another.

While St. Mary’s didn’t get the result they were hoping for, the tournament turned out to be an important learning experience. Competing against strong teams helped the players see where they could improve and what they could build on for the future. More than anything, the trip reminded them that success isn’t just about winning, it’s about growing together, learning from mistakes, and coming back stronger next time. The team ended the trip by celebrating teammates in the bus while blasting music on the speaker.
