Throughout the 2025-2026 school year, many historic events have taken place, such as the ignition of the American-Iran war. For St. Mary’s specifically, the Fall Play was an immensely significant event, taking place between Seisen International School and St. Mary’s International School.
The Fall Play covered the historically rich 1900’s stage-play “Our Town.” By staging a play that itself looks back at an earlier era, the cast and crew invited audiences to reflect on the passage of time, community bonds, and the often-overlooked moments that define our lives. The play tremendously strengthened the historic ties between sister school Seisen and St. Mary’s.
The American-Iran war has had a huge impact on not just America and Iran’s economy, but the global economy as a whole. As gas reserves deplete, the state Japan is setting into panic, and understanding the importance of that panic is essential for St. Mary’s students to navigate everyday life.
