The St Mary’s JV soccer team embarked on a trip to Shizuoka on February 16, 2025, where they played against Seiko Gakuin, a sister school of St Mary’s. In total, four mini matches were played, each consisting of 20 minutes.

The first two games were tough battles, where St Marys lost 2-0 in both matches. However, for the final two games, Seiko Gakuin and St Mary’s mixed up the teams, giving the players a new experience of playing with players they have never played with before. This opportunity to collaborate and build friendships brought the two schools together.

After the matches, the players from both schools shared lunch together, and engaged in a exchange where St Mary students got to learn about the Shizuoka Gakuin students. Surprisingly, many Seiko Gakuin students live in Tokyo, and some even in Setagaya, but they live in dormitories on school campus.
Overall, the trip was a new experience and memorial experience, allowing the JV team to not only compete and play against fellow student athletes, but also connect with them.
