The St. Mary’s varsity basketball team has had an impressive season this year, going undefeated as the season comes to an end. The team faced strong competition throughout the season and managed to come out on top in every game, including important wins against teams like ASIJ and Zama.
One of the players, Eddie Rubin (’28), said the team’s success came from working together. “We trusted each other on the court and stayed focused no matter who we were playing,” he said. Eddie also mentioned that beating strong teams helped build confidence. “Winning against ASIJ and Zama showed us that our hard work was paying off.”
The team stayed disciplined in games and pushed themselves in practice to keep improving. As the season finishes, the undefeated record reflects the effort and commitment of the players. The St. Mary’s community is proud of the varsity basketball team and their successful season.
