Jonathan (’29), Assistant Editor
Jonathan (’29) is a freshman at St. Mary’s, who arrived in Tokyo from Shanghai 6 years ago with his family, just before the COVID Pandemic. He is excited to be part of the Diplomat as an aspiring journalist and writer, having shown an interest in short story writing since his Middle School days. His hobbies include retro gaming, history, reading the news, surfing through Wikipedia, and videomaking. He is currently a member of the History Society Varsity Team, the High School Student Council, Junior Varsity Jazz Band, Model United Nations and the HS Cross Country team.
